32. You know, I’ve just noticed that your translations are, like, TWO VOLUMES AHEAD. Holy crap! Your translators must be gods! In fact, I’m sure they ARE gods! (Fair warning - do not tell me their residential addresses, or I will kidnap them and force them to work on any manga of my choice. Lol.)

    Let’s squash that right there - as the translator, I’m totally dependent on the amazing editors at Wingtip - props go to them! And then we’ve got the BEST of the best scan cleaners and type-setters, who deliver the goods every time.

    And of course, Chihaya is the real goddess behind Wingtip, who gave me a chance to work with this amazing project. And these last two volumes have been the work of the last SEVERAL months, so it’s not nearly a breakneck speed as you’d imagine!

    Pyo - LOL! I saw the first ep of the drama, and I couldn’t handle it, I was laughing too hard. I’m glad it seems so different!

40. I am curious about something. It says that 19 and 20 are also done, but why have you not released it yet? Are you going to delay it till you have some other chapters of other series done or should we expect to see them in a few days?

41. I can’t speak for The Fearless Leader, but we only release on Saturdays. And those chapters have been done for weeks. I’m glad we’re releasing them slowly, and not just when they’re done. For example, if we release them all, leave on a cliffhanger, then the staff get busy and people are left waiting for months… that would be tragic!

    And there are cliffhangers coming. Trust me, you don’t want that.

42. Sigh, I already reached the cliffhanger with my rough translating. I got the general gist of what happens and now I am ticked and want to read it in English, where I know I can understand it fully. I totally understand about siphoning the flow of releases to keep people on their toes and not lose any fans due to a long wait. I had just wondered if guys were going to do that or not and now my question is answered.

43. Momoe is growing up!!! :’)
    I liked this series in the beginning but now I love it. I thought I’d just read it for some quick entertainment and romance, but now I’ve really fallen for Momoe’s determination and growth as well as the plot. I can’t wait to see the next chapter, thank you!!!
    These last few chapters have been my favorites thus far, I wish there was some way to ‘Favorite’ or ‘Bookmark’ them without just leaving them saved in a corner of my disk drive.

55. Garkie >> It’s very nice of you to ask. But right now we don’t need cash donation. We got most of the scans for free on-line so there’s no cost in buying books. And the hosting bandwidth is still within the plan with no extra cost incurred.

    What we need is more staff. It’d be great if you can help us finding them. And we appreciate comments from time to time. We scanlators feed on those. ^_^

67. Chapter 25 is so good. I guess it’s fine to be confused, but not everything has to be sorted out right away. No need to rush over something. I like how he handled the problem and calmed Momoe down. ^0^

68. Oh, since the last chapters, things keep changing and moving oh-so-fast oh-so-turning, and I can’t help wondering what kind of ending the story would bring. A Delicious Relationship has become my favourite story at the moment. So much to understand, so much to learn for!

69. oishii kankei is the second manga under wingtip cafe translation that i’ve read. i first read ashita no ousama and fell in love with it and after reading oishii kankei up to the 25th chapter i made a conclusion that i will read all wingtip cafe’s projects because i told myself ‘this scanlating group sure have great taste and knows a good manga’. oishii kankei gave me a lot of insights and squeezed my heart for situations that were just way beyond me and its all thanks to your wonderful translation that this amazing work reached me.

    i would patiently wait for the next chapter and would suppress my desire to watch the drama version. keep up the great work you’re doing!

72. addle: ditto. I feel the same way. Wingtip Cafe knows the best of the best, and not just those cliched shoujo mangas, but these beautiful mangas with a subtle and deep current within them. I love Change! and Ashita no Ousama, always will. Oishii Kankei and Fukuyadou are just as good, if not better!!!! Thank you a thousand times!!     Ps: I hate Miki, she’s so empty, she doesnt have a real feeling for anything, it seems like that, is like she trow herself away for keeping up with some threats someone placed on her, telling her that’s reality, without letting her know the good side of life, so she took all the weapons and went to a battle where there’s no one to fight, so she takes it over Momoe, who is walking at her own pace and keeping her dreams alive. But it is true, after all, what the waiter said… That she’s staying behind, but it doesnt gives Miki and excuse to bully her :S

I just read about the scanlations problems, please do tell us if you decide something about this, I really love this manga, and others you have translated, I would be disheartened if I couldn’t finish them. I do understand the position of the publishers, but they do have to understand the position of the readers. I live in Ecuador and I will stay here, is my home, but I havent found many places where I can buy manga. They exist, but they dont import much, books are expensive anyway and bringing them here is more expensive (I was a wannabe writer and I am an active reader, but I cannot read so much as I want because of that, and I did research and for my country it is really expensive to bring books, more when are things like manga, which are read only by a minority of people… We do not have a ‘japanese sense’ like I call it, we are not big readers and most people don’t difference between japanese or chinese or even taiwanese, so… it’s a bad combo. And what they bring are things like Naruto or Rouroni Kenshin, Ranma, classical and big hits in the world… Not things like Oishii Kankei…
     I really appreciate your work, and the mangakas and the publishers’ work too. Its important, but they have to understand our position, not all economies are the same and even if I had money from my work, I wouldn’t be able to buy it all at the same time, or they would not bring things that are not sellers. some of it are not business here, they’re not profitable and that is something they should understand too. Not all the readers are north american. It would be great that all of us would be able to get what we want and still be ok with the others, I do not think you’re getting big profit of this, at least, i have not given you anything for this, except my thanks and my congratulations for your great work, wishes for you to continue and be well.

The characters’ development and the depth of emotional issues that they go through are all very realistic and touching. This is really a real-life manga.
